Students explore how things work with the JigSpace educational app and online platform. This interactive game-based learning app offers 3D breakdowns of complex ideas, objects, and phenomena for kids to explore. The soon-to-be-released Jig Workshop will allow students to add their own creations to the app for other users to experience.
Reading blasts out of this world with Story Time from Space, a project from the Global Space Education Foundation. The nonprofit organization partners with real astronauts, who read children's books from the International Space Station in an effort to help merge STEM and literacy.
The Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers grant program supports interest and participation in STEM and Information and Communications Technology to help build the workforce of the future. These grants are available for K—12 students and are sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
