Each month we publish blogs and several newsletters full of digital learning, funding, professional growth, social media, and STEM resources. Below are items from our blogs and newsletters that educators turned to the most in June.

Barbara Norris Coates, an educational grant writer, shares her formula on how to prepare and write a winning grant proposal in this two-part blog post. Her proven strategies will help grant applicants hone in on what is important.

Students explore how things work with the JigSpace educational app and online platform. This interactive game-based learning app offers 3D breakdowns of complex ideas, objects, and phenomena for kids to explore. The soon-to-be-released Jig Workshop will allow students to add their own creations to the app for other users to experience.

Reading blasts out of this world with Story Time from Space, a project from the Global Space Education Foundation. The nonprofit organization partners with real astronauts, who read children's books from the International Space Station in an effort to help merge STEM and literacy.

The Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers grant program supports interest and participation in STEM and Information and Communications Technology to help build the workforce of the future. These grants are available for K—12 students and are sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

Big Deal Media partnered with rsEdge in a pop-up survey of our K—12 Technology Newsletter readers to determine which interactive technologies educators are using with success in the classroom. Read our findings and check out the infographic to learn what barriers educators face and what we expect to see in the future of EdTech.
