Each month we publish blogs and several newsletters full of digital learning, funding, professional growth, social media, and STEM resources. Below are items from our blogs and newsletters that educators turned to the most in July.

1. Virtual Tour of the World-Famous Secret Annex

The Anne Frank House museum has partnered with Force Field VR to recreate the Secret Annex where Anne Frank and her family lived in hiding from July 6, 1942, until their arrest on the morning of August 4, 1944.

2. Neutral, Biased, or Balanced?: Recognizing Points of View in Media

Before the recent inauguration, then Vice-President Elect Pence accused the news media of being biased. As the media and Washington seem to be careening out of control, our students and their families are becoming more confused about navigating news.

3. IEP Goals and Objectivees with Common Core Standards

The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) has designed an app for iOS to assist educators in creating a list of students who have received IEPs and in planning lessons and goals for each of the students.

4. Aspects of Effective Project-Based Learning

Project-based learning (PBL) is a topic many teachers are interested in, but are unsure of how to implement or understand if it is working.

5. The Journey Towards Future-Ready

Every district is on a journey. The incredible part of serving as a superintendent is having the privilege to help guide that journey based on what students need to be successful.
