Sponsored by The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Department of VSA and Accessibility, the VSA International Young Soloists Competition is open to young musicians with disabilities, aged 14–25. Applicants can apply as an instrumental or vocal soloist, or as ensembles (including bands) of two to five members. All genres of music will be accepted, including classical, jazz, hip-hop, and rock. In addition to the $2,000 award, winners will have the opportunity to perform at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on May 25, 2017.
