TechMatrix’s freely downloadable Consumer Guide for School Administrators offers guidance on technology purchases. Also available are research articles on the theory and practice of using technology to improve student learning. TechMatrix is a product of the National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI). NCTI is operated by American Institutes for Research (AIR) and is dedicated to improving the quality and integration of assistive and learning technologies to enhance learning experiences for students with disabilities and their classmates.

April is Autism Awareness Month, and Apple is marking the occasion by posting a digital art gallery of works created by artists on the autism spectrum. The project, which is curated by the nonprofit Art of Autism, is being unveiled over the course of the month. “Created on iPadGallery” features the work of 15 artists from the autistic community who hail from across the US and Canada. The participants have differing abilities and are different ages.
