Classroom Grant for Innovative Aerospace Activities
Each school year, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) awards grants of up to $500 to worthy projects that significantly influence student learning, and inspire and advance the future of aerospace. AIAA’s Classroom Grant Program encourages development of innovative aerospace activities within the prescribed curriculum. The grant proposal should convey a clear connection to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with an emphasis on aerospace. Funds may be used for classroom mathematics or science demonstration kits, classroom science supplies, K–12 mathematics and science software, mathematics manipulative materials, supplies for making flying objects, or materials for robotics programs. Eligible teachers must be current AIAA Educator Associate members actively engaged in K–12 classroom education prior to receiving a grant. Interested applicants will find this grant opportunity on GetEdFunding, a free database sponsored by CDW•G of thousands of funding opportunities for educators.
Each month we publish blogs and several newsletters full of
digital learning, funding, professional growth, social media, and STEM
resources. Below are items from our blogs and newsletters that educators turned
to the most in February.
