To continue America’s technological advantage and strengthen the workforce pipeline, Lockheed Martin funds STEM education outreach activities for students across the K–16 spectrum. The company supports programs, events, and campaigns that focus on student achievement, teacher development, and gender and ethnic diversity. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations, public elementary and secondary schools, and qualified institutions of higher education located or operating in a community in which Lockheed Martin has employees or business interests.

The You CAN Do The Rubik’s Cube program provides resources and support to schools and youth organizations to teach STEM/STEAM standards and twenty-first century skills by using the Rubik’s Cube. Invented by Professor Erno Rubik as a model of 3D geometry and design, the Rubik’s Cube has its foundation in the classroom.
Google is offering a new coding resource for educators via Code with Google, which collects Google’s own free course curriculum on teaching computer science and a variety of other programs to help students learn to code or build on their existing skills, with lessons and materials for people at all levels of ability.
