Natural Habitat Adventures invites US-based environmental educators to apply for the 2020 Monarch Butterfly Scholarship Grant. Two qualified teachers will earn an opportunity to experience the monarch butterfly migration while traveling on a small-group adventure led by premier naturalist guides. The two scholarship winners will learn about this natural phenomenon as they witness millions of monarchs gathering at their winter roosting sites in Central Mexico’s forested highlands. Each grant recipient will be awarded one space on the January 5, 2020, Kingdom of the Monarchs adventure (a $3,795 value), plus free round-trip airfare. The Monarch Butterfly Scholarship Grant is open to any person in the United States who is an environmental educator, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school teachers; college professors; educational exhibition curators; nonprofit outreach specialists; textbook authors; and documentary producers. Interested applicants will find additional details about this scholarship grant on GetEdFunding, a website sponsored by CDW•G with access to a free database of thousands of funding opportunities for educators.
