Minigrants to Encourage Girls to Pursue STEM Careers

The National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) supports girl-serving programs focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to address gaps and overlaps in service and share exemplary practices. NGCP awards minigrants to fund projects that encourage girls to pursue STEM-related educational programs and careers, and promote cooperation between existing girl-serving programs. The minigrants are a small amount of seed funding; they are not intended to fully fund entire projects. The maximum minigrant award is $1,000. At least two programs from different organizations must collaborate on the minigrant project. Preference is given to applications for activities that are innovative and involve first-time collaboration between the applicant organizations.

Deadline: Applications accepted year-round; specific dates determined by state or regional collaboratives
