At the beginning of February 2019, the podcast “Binge Mode” concluded its eight-month run of 70 episodes discussing every chapter of the seven books in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. The show’s hosts parsed the text of each Potter chapter, analyzing the story’s themes, rehashing memorable passages, and hunting for signs of foreshadowing. The podcast concluded with a bonus episode taking questions from listeners and discussing the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Students can jump on their brooms and explore all the episodes of the Harry Potter podcast on the Binge Mode website or in iTunes. Next up in 2019: Game of Thrones.
