Cohosted by Astronaut Cady Coleman and physicist/author Andrew Maynard, Mission: Interplanetary, explores the “big questions”—the challenges, opportunities, and mysteries facing us as we seek to build positive futures here on Earth and beyond. Mission: Interplanetary is a partnership between Slate and Arizona State University’s Interplanetary Initiative. Envisioned and designed by drama professor Lance Gharavi, this event features a galaxy of fascinating guests, including science fiction writers, artists, engineers, and rocket scientists. The podcast is audio only, but a YouTube video features Cady Coleman with Andrew Maynard on Slate’s show “Future Tense,” interviewing scientists who bring viewers up to date on the Perseverence Mars Rover.
