Help students take their fighting spirit to the next level. Nominate them today for a chance to become a Semper Fidelis All-American. TheSemper Fidelis All-American Program, presented by the United States Marine Corps, recognizes elite high school juniors who face life’s battles with the determination to succeed. As a celebration of their success, selected Semper Fidelis All-Americans will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the exclusive Battles Won Academy in Washington, DC, occurring July 13–17, 2017. Students will participate in an immersive Marine Corps experience, take part in teambuilding outings, hear from an elite group of speakers, and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the nation’s capital. In recognition of the importance of building a support system to enable the success of the next generation, each All-American will have an opportunity to invite a mentor to attend the event with him or her. Additionally, becoming a Semper Fidelis All-American will make students eligible for select scholarship opportunities available only to program participants.
The Saxena Family Foundation awards grants and supports programs that have a particular focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and around empowering girls and young women so that they have equal rights later in life through literacy programs, jobs, and life-skills training.
The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000, and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, aged 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. To date, more than $7.8 million has been awarded to 346 brilliant young people. Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, and Outside the Box.
Peace First is convening a global group of youth leaders between the ages of 13 and 25 to design a meaningful, youth-centered campaign in response to COVID-19. The organization is offering minigrants of up to $250, mentorship, and project support to young people leading initiatives to address secondary effects of COVID-19 in their communities.
