Virtual Course Offering Strategies for Mobile Learning
The Verizon Mobile Learning Academy (VMLA) is a free, 10-week virtual professional development experience designed to help teams, schools, or districts implement or improve their mobile learning strategy. Delivered by ISTE, in partnership with The Verizon Foundation, VMLA supports various approaches to mobile learning, such as 1:1 and BYOD. Participants will benefit from connection to other teams and VMLA alumni in a private Google+ community and have access to experienced ISTE faculty and instructional coaches who will facilitate the online course. Participants will also earn 2.5 Continuing Education Units from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a digital badge to showcase their skills. The next course cycle will run from September 25 through December 8, 2017.
