Carmen Sandiego is on a new mission: traveling the world to help the next generation of global citizens build valuable social–emotional skills. Students can journey with Carmen in Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s new web series, Fearless Kids Around the World, and meet young heroes working to do good with bravery, resilience, and kindness. Each episode in the series is paired with social–emotional learning activities following the CASEL framework to build competence in responsible decision-making, self-awareness, relationship skills, social awareness, and self-management. Hailing from six different continents, these heroes protect the environment and wildlife, empower youth with learning differences, speak out against bullying, and more. Each young person’s episode and accompanying lesson plan are available for free online.
