Webinar on Creating Active, Innovative Learning Spaces
Creating modern and innovative learning environments is top of mind for most educators, but what factors should be addressed while ensuring that the learning environment remains the central focus? On March13, 2018, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. (ET), the Amazing Resources for Educatorscommunity on edWeb.net will host an Edwebinar entitled “Creating Modern Learning Environments” for K–12 educators. The webinar, sponsored by Ergotron, will address the merits of an open environment, modern pedagogy, and accessible technology and collaboration. It will also suggest ways that movement-friendly furniture can be an effective part of this effort. Participants will discover how one school system is using mobile, height-adjustable standing desks in the classroom, in addition to other best practices, to create active, innovative learning spaces. This presentation is designed for teachers, principals, and administrators. Participants’ questions will be answered during the live, interactive session, and the webinar will be recorded and archived for members of the Amazing Resources for Educators community to access after the event.
