Proponents of the digital humanities—the combination of art and literature and modern tech—are working to figure out how to make this imaginary scenario into reality.
In the last few years, a small group of designers at Artifact Design created a system called the Zed Digital Makerspace. (Zed stands for “Generation Z Education.”) This network system connects schools with museums to promote STEM education through project-based learning.
