Close to 130 organizations, including school districts, are participating in Ready4K, a text-messaging program designed to engage parents in students’ literacy development. Parents can “opt in” to receive three text messages each week, covering everything from naming emotions to building confidence and staying active through movement.

Teams are usually formed by students or a staff member who has an interest in gaming or simply wants to see students working together using gaming Esports is unique because it is an inclusive, coed sport and can be a way for students who cannot physically participate in traditional sports to be a part of a team and community.
Devon Scott and Samantha Harris, two class of 2021 medical students in Southern California, have created a book, entitled Why We Stay Home, to help children understand why their worlds have changed dramatically in the last few months and why it has been important to stay home during that time.
