The Smithsonian Latino Virtual Museum is an immersive education initiative with bilingual mixed-media experiences created to promote knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Latino cultural heritage. Michigan State University’s JournalismDepartment is partnering with the museum to develop virtual reality (VR) experiences through the Smithsonian Eco Explorers website.
TheVirtual High School in Massachusetts is piloting three new courses suitable for ESL students this fall. The new courses were developed in partnership with CERNET Education along with input from ESL experts at the Massachusetts International Academy (MAIA). Fall registration for all courses is currently open.
