National Bullying Prevention Month is a nationwide campaign held during the month of October to unite communities to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. In order to help you prevent bullying, we’ve collected resources you can use in your classrooms and schools.
Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi started the student-run organization CHOOSE to overcome racism and inspire harmony through exposure, education, and empowerment. Their organization then led them to collaborate with Princeton University on The Classroom Index, a textbook devoted to racial literacy.
The Minority Science Writers Internshipgrant, sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), is intended to help students with an interest in science and technology to pursue their educational goals.
Formed in 2014, Latina Girls Code (LGC) was created to fill the diversity gap between girls aged 7–17 who are interested in technology. The program provides mentors, access to hardware and digital tools, as well as internships through various programs and events throughout the year.
